British Weather Wins!

Bath Tournament

Bitter disappointment for the Whitefield Volleyball Tournament in Bath, as the tournament organisers had to pull the plug on the whole tournament. One of the longest and biggest tournaments in the UK lost to the weather as the site became a mud Bath. Explaination provided in full at this link.

Digging at the Dome

Yes the rumours are true they proclaimed. London Volleyball Assocation is running beach sessions at the Dome.

There is a beach in the O2 Dome, complete with palm trees, and right beside the bar.
Enter the Dome, and walk round to your right for 2 blocks.

LBVC is looking to offer basic technique sessions and mini games for the public on Monday evenings, for 5 weeks from the 16th July to the 20th August.
However, more experienced players needed to support the sessions. Equally, some of these players would join clubs if you want to talk to them.
